Founded in 1994, Fusion was one of the first companies in Quebec to offer energy-saving and energy-control tools. We offer owners and managers of hospitality, residential, commercial and institutional buildings an integrated, innovative and proven energy management solution that reduces both energy costs and GHG emissions while highlighting occupant comfort.

In 2024, Fusion joined forces with Lemay, an architecture and design firm renowned for its leadership in sustainable strategies and spaces that enhance the natural and built environment.

Our leaders

Daniel Sarrazin – President

As the founder of Fusion, Daniel is a pioneer in energy management and optimization in Quebec. His keen understanding of building mechanics and proven experience in operations have supported the company's growth, particularly in hospitality, residential, commercial and institutional sectors. A member of several professional committees and councils, Daniel is a business leader committed to improving energy efficiency practices in Quebec.
Loïc Angot – Managing Director

Over the course of his 15-year career, Loïc has applied his expertise in sustainability to numerous large-scale commercial, institutional, and residential projects across Canada. An energy engineer with an MBA, he leads Fusion’s growth to accelerate the decarbonization of building stock. Recognized by his peers for his collaborative approach, he won Construction Canada’s Emerging Leader Award in 2020 for his contributions to the industry.
Jacques Gauthier – Vice-President, Technology

Jacques has extensive expertise in the development of sophisticated control algorithms and has played a central role in the deployment of Fusion’s technology. A key figure in the field of energy intelligence, he has participated in various research and development projects in collaboration with organizations such as Hydro-Québec's research institute (IREQ) and CanmetÉNERGIE. As head of Fusion’s technical department, Jacques leads a team of talented technicians, electricians and programmers.
Julien Kazzi – Business Development Director

With a proven track record in the industry, Julien stands out for his unwavering commitment to a more sustainable future. As strong advocate for technological innovation who’s passionate about energy intelligence, he is central to Fusion's growth and success. His business acumen and leadership have led him to develop key strategic partnerships and lasting relationships with property managers.
Pierre-Olivier Ferland – Director, Marketing and Communications

Driven by a genuine passion for branding and communications, Pierre-Olivier gained experience as a consultant for major marketing agencies in Montreal before founding and running his own boutique agency for nearly ten years. His exceptional grasp of brand positioning challenges, combined with a creative and strategic mindset, is a key asset that helps Fusion realize its full potential.
